My wife asks the firefighters ,
and cleaning workers
She looks at the statues
Upright with black legs
She asks the street vendors ,
And swarms of locusts type Tornado .

Always asks about the balance of truth ,
And because I am a man who is afraid of the outcomes of matters
I bought her an elegant scale

وثلاجات حفظ الموتى,
وكالات الغوث
ومدابغ الجلود
تسأل مستشفيات الولادة
وسجون الأحداث
تسأل أهلة الأعياد
وهي تمر
دون أن تطرق بابها
زوجتي تسأل رجال الأطفاء
وعمال التنظيف
وهي تنظر الى التماثيل
منتصبة بقوائم سود
تسأل الباعة المتجولين
وأسراب الجراد نوع تورنادو
زوجتي
دائما تسأل عن ميزان الحق
ولأنني رجل أخشى عاقبة الأمور
اشتريت لها ميزانا أنيقا
فقالت:
وأين الحق؟
فرحت أدلها
على بنات آوى.
