When you overlook my heart

As a cataract of light,

I draw my memory in your first step,

And tour in you like a young boy.

The palpitation of my heart captures me 

And the hymns of my flowing blood

In your breast.

O, women

That enters my heart publicly

And enters it secretly!

I open all my arteries as a fountain

And continue my memory

Through a road joining our hearts.

We write the dream of the future

On the prison walls,

On the trees

And on the walls of Arab towns.

The moment we dream of dawn,

You become my heart

And all the roads lead to you,

Embracing the sea waves

And the sea birds.

Shall we read the First Chapter of the dawn?

When I leave my heart coming to you,

You come

And become the root in my heart,

The water floods

Touching my larynx

Therefore, I feel your throb knocking my breast.

And I gaze at you

And see one homeland as a voice

Singing to me,

Teaching the waves, trees and days

The love prayer and the throb of the heart.

When I gaze at you, I gaze at my country

For the road to you is too long

And it is too short.

O, woman!

I rise from your wound as a sun

And kiss my wound from your sun.

Is there anything joining our hearts

Except your roots

And my dreams?
