The night will come

A soothsayer predicts my future late at night:
“You are the death horoscope!
You will establish a ministry for cemeteries
And undisputed
You become a secretary general of
Mourning
Oh my son, your homeland
Is a Godsend
That was inherited by
A slayer after slayer!”
في آخر الليل
أجلس عندي
سيأتي الليل وتجن
ويجن معك الليل
حكيم في آخره يقرأ طالعي
أنت من برج الموت
ستنشىء للمقابر وزارة
وبلا منازع
تصبح أمينا عاما للنواح
فموطنك ياولدي
هبة الله
أستورثه
ذباح أثر ذباح !!

In the bus that picked us up to Ankawa,
She and myself,
Passing by the castle,
Where you can see half of the world
And the other half is beside me,
I whispered in her ears:
“How could you manage to close my eye
of all this beauty?!”
في الباص الذي أقلنا الى عينكاوه
هي وأنا
مرورا بالقلعة
حيث ترى نصف العالم
.. نصفه الآخر جنبي ..
همست في أذنيها
كيف أستطعت
أن تغلقي عيني
عن كل هذا الجمال ؟؟
